Braydon & Cassidy

A few photos of Braydon & Cassidy at Lo's soccer game.

At half time (or whatever they call it in Soccer).
Ricky took the kids onto the field.

Ricky was having as much fun as the kids!

Sunday Funday!

What a great Sunday we had! (This was supposed to be posted on 9/22 -- oops!)

We had been planning a family BBQ at Rick & Ev's for the last couple of weeks - the guest of honor was my brother, Kevin.   Kevin has not seen the kids for some time as his life was a little crazy.   He's working hard to get things going in the right direction and wanted to see the kids.

As with most things in our family that are planned, everything got switched up at the last minute.  Unfortunately, Zach was sick and Sarah had to work.

We missed them but had a GREAT time!  Zach met me half way with Cassidy and then we headed over to pick up Kevin.  Cassidy met Kevin about a month ago and is absolutely in L.O.V.E. with him.    All she talks about his her Uncle Evan (Kevin).

We spent the afternoon swimming, catching up, playing turbo scrabble and eating!  Ricky is a master BBQ'er!  He can whip up an awesome meal.   Tri Tip, Chicken, Corn on the Cob, Jalapeno poppers, Mushrooms/Onions --  Yummy.

Braydon.  So handsome!
I think he's come up with a new name for me.
Mimi!  So, I am now called Grammie, Bammie and Mimi.
I am blessed!

"Bammie, NO MORE PICTURES!"

Kevin & Lo.   Lo had only met Kevin one other time.
By the end of the afternoon, it was like she had known him her whole life.
So sweet!

The sequence below of Braydon & Cassidy cracks me up.  I couldn't for the life of me
get them to both look at the camera at the same time.

OK. . . I know I'm the Grammie, Bammie, Mimi. . . which does make me a tad partial.
But my grandbabies are so darn cute, I can hardly stand it!

Pool Fun!

Impromptu BBQ at Ricky & Ev's over Labor Day weekend (I know I'm late -- better late than never, right?).  No photos of Zach - he was in Pennsylvania at his last race.

Life is grand when you've got all of your treasures in one spot!

Ricky

That smile . . . it melts my heart!

I love Braydon's face in this photo (click to enlarge).

Could he be any cuter?  This is one of my favorite photos.

Lookin' at his hands underwater.  Too cute!

How cute is Ev?

Sarah and Gavin.

My girl, Lo.  Saying, "Grammie, enough with the camera, OK?"

Kissin' cousins.

Be blessed, my friends!

Cassidy's First Day of School

Cassidy's first day of school was a few weeks ago.   It was a momentous occasion to say the least.

Cassidy has been telling Sarah and Zach that she no longer wanted to go to Miss Fareeda's  -- she wanted to go to school!   Sarah thought she would wait until Cass's 3rd birthday to start in her school but it was very obvious that she needed to move up her start date.

When Cassidy went to visit her school, Crossroads Christian in Corona and meet her teacher, Miss Robin.   She was very upset and cried.   She was upset because she wanted to go to her 'other' school.  Her big school.  Her Johns school.   She thought she was going to go to St. John's to go to school.  How darn sweet is that!

Following are a few photos of the Cass & family.

The White Family on Cassidy's first day of Pre-School.  Notice Zach's grumpy face. For some reason, he couldn't understand why Bammie had to take a zillion pictures.
He'll learn, someday!

How cute!   Backpack is as big as she is!

I've become my Gramma!

When I was growing up, my Gram (who raised us) was an absolute fanatic about my brother's Little League baseball teams, games, picnics, uniforms, dinners, scorekeeping -- you name it -- she did it and was happy about it.  She was the first to get game/practice and the last to leave.    Not only did she do this for my brothers, Kevin and Robbie -- but the few years that Ricky played Little League -- my Gram was at every game proudly displaying her photo buttons!

I've not resorted to photo buttons or some of the other extremes.  But I did purchase the ultimate soccer chair and the cutest little soft-sided, rolling ice chest.   I will tell you one thing -- You won't find a prouder Grammie sitting on the sidelines of the Orange Premier Pirates Club Soccer Team.

I've posted about Lo and Soccer before so -- I won't go in to how fast she is, how she can control the ball so well, is a great team player -- oooops!  I'll stop now.

Here are a few pictures from a recent Tournament.  The pirates took first place in the weekend long Toyota of Orange Soccer Tournament.

This purchase put me into my Gramma's league as a freakzoid grandparent!
Yes,  I actually sit in this chair (notice my new big girl purse!).
 Love. this. chair.
It is a far cry from the aluminum/web beach chair my Gram had!

Blurry, I know.  But love the photo.  This is a prime example, why I should bite the bullet and buy that darn D60!

Blurvision by Grammie!
These photos were taken at another Tournament (they were practicing) in Huntington Beach.

Blessings!
